About Ukonzakura cherry blossom Festival
 
29th（Wed.）　“Kinensai” and “Eireisai”
“Kinensai”…We pray to the dieties for a good harvest this year and the development of industries.
“Eireisai”…We pray for the spirits of the war dead in this neighborhood.

Events in May

31st（Sun.）　“Ningyou-Kanshasai”(a memorial service for dolls)
We collect used dolls.We’re thankful for your donations.

Events in June

6th（Sat.）　Naki-Sumo
“Naki-Sumo”…An annual traditional ritual which is performed as a praye for the healthy growth of babies.
 
7th（Sun.）　“Arashiyokesai” and “Uzikoiri-Houkokusai”
“Arashiyokesai”…We pray for a rich harvest without strong winds and storms.
“Uzikoiri-Houkokusai”…We report to the local deities who became a shrine parishioner due to their child birth, marriage and moving residence.
 
28th（Sun.）　“Ooharai” and “Wakuguri-Shinji”　
“Ooharai” and “Wakuguri-Shinji”…Shrine ritual to endure the hot summer.
